Construction professionals with experience on transportation infrastructure construction specifically major railroad construction programs including bridges, tunnels, signals, electrical substations and station work. Resident Engineer candidate should have a professional engineering license (PE) and strong communication skills with a resume that demonstrates success managing rail construction. Skills and Abilities: High level of critical thinking skills Strong written and verbal communication Strong supervision and leadership skills Familiarity with electronic file management systems Excellent oral and written English language Computer Proficient Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, MS Word and Power Point), as well as Adobe Reader and web-based applications such as SharePoint Responsibilities: Supervise construction inspection personnel and assure that the construction inspection is completed properly, in a timely manner and in accordance with the contract documents and Agency requirements Providing QA oversight, monthly schedule review, track and report submittals and RFI's status Conduct Project Meetings, prepare and circulate minutes Seek resolution of NCRs which may have an advise impact on the quality and work progress and to provide support on any incident/accident and its investigate Prepare monthly reports, pay estimates Acting as Liaison with internal and external stakeholders including contractors and local authorities to facilitate the construction activities Managing the start-up, commissioning and handover of the Work, including maintaining records of the project milestones Maintaining as-built records, e.g. Site Diary, Design Changed Note, TQ & NCR Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent PE license is required At least 10 years of experience in construction management, supervision or oversight with a strong background in construction quality assurance for large scale transit/rail construction projects is required Experienced in managing task order contracts Experienced with federal funded documentation (Buy America) Experienced with monitoring budget and schedule 30 Hour OSHA is preferred   Position Requirements Minimum Requirements: Qualified candidate must have a valid driver's license and retain a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration. Possess a personal vehicle for use during the day for transportation to and from and on or around a job site Ability to read and understand plans and direction given in the English language Ability to write in English Basic computer skills Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Word documents Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Excel documents Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Exchange emails with attachments Possess the ability to stand on your feet for approximately 3 hours minimum a day up to 8 hours a day. Possess the ability to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material Variation of elevation 12" or less (mud, gravel, rutted ground etc.) Possess the ability to climb a ladder varying from 6 feet to 20-foot extension Possess the ability to ride in a mechanical lift or bucket truck up to a height of 100 feet Be physically able to don and wear and operate personal fall arresting apparatus. Be able to wear GPI standard PPE, i.e. hard hats, safety vest, work boots, safety glasses/goggles Be able to lift and or carry a weight of 30-50 lbs. (concrete inspection specimens and required equipment) Be able to work in a confined space by definition of OSHA. Physically able to wear and work utilizing a respirator or SCBA type of breathing apparatus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
