The environment is comprised of WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Message Broker, and Apache Webserver  The individual will work with other infrastructure and Application Development teams to ensure that Line of Business Web Application are available and reliable to the business community.                                                                                                                                                                        Subject Matter Expert in Web and Middleware technologies   Govern and oversee Managed Service Provider Lead troubleshooting complex issues within the Middleware environment, operating as level 2.5 support, coordinating with other teams when needed, documenting the results and developing solutions to prevent future incidents. Lead major projects, developing implementation plans, tasks, and coordinating the effort to implementation. Produce metrics and status reports to present infrastructure performance and work initiative progress to leadership. Assist with reporting 'best practices', availability and service management metrics measuring the success of the team effectiveness Bring knowledge and expertise in IT processes and controls and incorporates those ideas into the technology community.  Maintain an awareness of processes used in the industry and by other leading global IT organizations; uses this information to develop new strategies and recommendations for their area of process expertise. Lead a network of resources across IT to identify process improvements, benchmark and validate innovative solutions, and integrate marketplace best practices as appropriate.   Required Qualifications Minimum of 7 years experiencesupporting Web Infrastructure technologies in a large scale multi-platform Unix environment with 7/24 support. Experience in an infrastructure organization in supporting, deploying and upgrading Web Infrastructure.  This includes working with Application Development teams to understand their requirements and ensure they are leveraging the capabilities of the environment. GENERAL SKILLS: Experience in providing 7x24 operational support of a large scale shared infrastructure. Leadership and team working skills for leading technical projects and managing multiple projects across business and technology groups Collaborates with others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations Ability to define reliability, recoverability, maintainability of components     Able to ensure that services perform as required and that all risks associated with availability are identified and appropriately handled     Troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of availability related incidents and problems    Experience in working with a Managed Service Provider      TECHNOLOGY SPECIFIC SKILLS: 7+ years experienceworking with IBM MQ, WebSphere Application Server, and WebSphere Message Broker or equivalent 7+ years experience with Apache Web Server Experience with web messaging (SOAP) Experience on Unix Platforms, preferable Red hat Linux Experience with Internet related topic like SSL, TLS, Load Balancing, Reverse Proxies and Firewalls Broad knowledge of Internet network protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS Broad knowledge of Relational Database  SF:LI-KV1     EOE M/F/D/V   If you have difficulty using or interacting with any portions of this Web site due to incompatibility with an Assistive Technology, if you need the information in an alternative format, or if you have suggestions on how we can make this site more accessible, please contact us at: (212) 576-5811.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
