Office 365 Engineer Job Responsibilities: Office 365 Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting Email Messaging components of the New York Life's Office 365 system, Exchange 2010 on-premise system, and associated infrastructure, including all related applications, servers and services. The applicant will need to maintain a high level of ownership and investment in tasks associated with both new and ongoing O365 based needs within the IT environment. Incumbents must be able to lead efforts in troubleshooting, remediating and optimizing all Office 365-based issues, while also working with engineering requirements and providing strategic recommendations to management.   The applicant will be the liaison between NYL and TCS Level 2 support. He/She will coordinate all production changes, develop and report on platform issues and ensure knowledge transfer occurs between engineering and operations staff.  The applicant requires solid technical infrastructureexperience, strong project management acumen and excellent vendor management skills, in addition to a superior, service-oriented approach to infrastructure operations and is responsible for operational and service management processes to ensure that quality, efficiency and agility goals are achieved.   The candidate will Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016 and O365 infrastructure, and will employ excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work closely with other engineers and administrators in order to ensure smooth transitions and tight coordination amongst users and stakeholders.   Required Skills: o 8+ years of senior-level (tier 2 or 3) administration and engineering experience in an enterprise IT environment, having performed operational and break/fix activity along with engineering and design o Microsoft Exchange, including 2013/2016 and Online versions oWorking knowledge of authentication o Extensive experience with the design and implementation of IT projects and major efforts, to include documentation, communication, and coordination of all components o Expertise with professionally coordinating and assisting customer support (tier-1 or tier-2) personnel with O365 related incidents and tasks o 2+ years of developing information system design, governance, process, procedure documentation o Expertise in coordination and escalation to Microsoft support and ability to coordinate with first- and third-party software vendors as needed for resolution of business-impacting problems o Can convey complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in a manner that is easily understood, authoritative, and actionable for the business; actively listens to peers' input. o Strong analytical and problem solving skills; acts decisively and swiftly, identifies problems and drives towards solutions. o Must be able to collaborate effectively with other senior architects within the organization   Desired Skill o Broad knowledge of other Microsoft systems infrastructure products such as Azure and Windows Server, SCCM o Basic scripting and development skills & PowerShell a plus o Must have excellent Customer Service skills o Proficient experience with modern authentication remediation with inclusion of multiple modern browsers, Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus, client profile migration, and mailbox migration experience. o Understanding of legacy authentication scenariospreferred o Experience providing user guidance, documentation, and consultation o Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills o Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities o Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
