Printer/Production Operator

Overview Construction Specialties (CS) draws upon its almost 70 years of extensive expertise to design and manufacture custom, high-quality products that solve complex building challenges around the world. Construction Specialties is currently seeking a Printer/Production Operator who is responsible for setting up and operating a wide-format printer or assemble product according to written and/or verbal instructions, established company procedures, safety, and quality guidelines, customer requirements of quality, cost, and time using the most economical means. Overtime and 2nd shift hours may be required. Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, including but not necessarily limited to the following: - Run a production machine and understand its operation or assemble product to customer specifications. - Set up press according to established company guidelines, safety, and job requirements. - Assist the Production Supervisor in achieving scheduling requirements. - Secure supervisor's approval for production run. - Print job maintaining optimum production rate, color density, and quality standard within company and customer guidelines, and makes press adjustments as required. - Solve printing problems. - Complete production records. - Assist in the routine maintenance of equipment. - Maintain a clean and safe work area. - Perform all other related duties assigned by management - Assist in tracking, Stocking & Replenishing printing supplies - Help prepare/pack shipments Qualifications KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: - Wide-Format Printer Experience - Understanding of Color Management - Ability to meet demands established by a dynamic schedule - Basic RIP Operation - Quality Control Experience - Microsoft Office SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: - none

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
